chocolate milk heals all hurts

today we went to the doctor for eden's 18 month checkup(i am slightly behind in this endeavor, as e will be 2 in about two weeks). anyway, one of the reasons i probably have avoided this is b/c e is terrified of the doctor. her pediatrican is great and always takes time to talk with us, but regardless, e pretty much starts crying the moment we walk into the office. today was no exception. just trying to weigh her was so traumatic i ended up having to get on the scale with her, then put her down (screaming) and get weighed myself to subtract the difference. this was great fun in an office where the heaviest client is probably 8 yrs old and weighs no more than 50 pounds. we won't even talk about the shots. needless to say, on the way home we swung through good old mcdonalds for a happy meal. i ordered chocolate milk for eden; since she has never had it before. forget nuggets, apple dippers, and the kung fu panda (made in china i'm sure) toy, all e wanted was the choc milk. once we were home and i transferred the milk to a suppy cup, she put it on the back of her car and drove around with it, stopping every couple feet to take a drink. if i went anywhere near her, she got mad and sniffled at me, muttering 'all done' or something along the lines of 'i don't want to'. does anyone else's kid act this offended after a visit to the doctor?
so. next time, i think i might stop at mcdonalds before the doctor...

Dum dums work too... Stick in the leg, stick in the leg, sucker in mouth, done.
