eden's kindergarten class has been studying the states. no one was too surprised when she chose iowa for her project. she came up with the idea of 'the colors of iowa' and it was so fun learning about iowa and helping her create this project; especially knowing that even though she is a texas girl, my home state ranks pretty highly. her traditional dutch outfit came courtesy of her sweet aunt and cousins, and represents the orange city tulip festival. now, if only we can convince her on going to our alma mater, dordt college.
