fine arts night

one of the things we love about veritas is their art program.  a few weeks ago, eden's impressionist piece of monet's water lilies was selected for an area art competition.  it was fun to see what they've been working on this year.  i'm pretty sure my first grade art did not look like this!  (sorry, this is my proud mom post where i show off stuff my kids did, so feel free to ignore...)

 i'm not sure carter takes his art as seriously as his sister....

 we also got to see performances from all the classes.  

carter's class sang 'my God is so big' in French, 

and eden's class sang a Filipino song.
