unfortunately, i managed to pick up the world's most awful stomach bug while we were there. and then it made the rounds through our entire family. thankfully, none of our friends got it, cause i wouldn't wish that on anyone. at least eden and carter didn't get the bug until after they were able to float the river--and we are extra thankful for awesome friends who took them along while poor dan stayed back to care for me and arie. being sick sucks. but then you feel better and life moves on.
