a little rain, we had a great time. one of the reasons dan and i have chosen to stay in texas and raise our family here is because of the friendships we've made. this weekend was no exception. i love having the opportunity to relax and simplify--let our kids roam free, have conversations filled with laughter, enjoy the beauty of the country, eat comfort food and drink beer (or champagne in a can...), listen to good music and watch our kids dance, and look at the gorgeous night sky filled with stars.
