on our way to play with her friend gabriel last week, eden told me, 'i am going to tell gabriel that his name is from the bible and it means 'god's messenger'. he needs to know that.'
on our way to have dinner with friends saturday night (who have a sweet little boy named joshua), eden said, 'i'm going to tell joshua that his name is about the battle of jericho in the bible. he needs to know that.'
beware, if you or your child have a biblical name, eden will inform you its origin. or at least, she will inform me, and then be shy about it when she actually sees you.

i love it! i could go on and on about the bible trivia and "theology" that has come out of the girls mouths in public.
It is so sweet, but I try not to look embarassed as lucy belts out "my God is MIGHTY TO SAVE" in Target.
Does Eden tell people about her own name too?
