this is dan. i have known him for 15 years. i've loved him for the last 13 of them. and i've been married to him for the last 11 of them. we have lived in iowa, california, and texas. we have traveled to canada, costa rica, mexico, colorado, new york city, south africa, michigan, london, washington dc, and many more places. we have 2 children together.
today, dan is on his way to a work conference in miami. i am a little jealous, i won't lie, but more than that, i am thankful for a husband who works hard so he can come home to his family-- to go to the park, to play 'eden and carter sandwich' (this is a somewhat dangerous roughhousing activity that i avoids at all costs), to make chicken and dumpling soup, to tuck his daughter into bed at night, to take early morning runs with his son, and to tell his wife she's doing a good job even when she really feels like she's not.
