lucky....

when i can't sleep i think about random stuff. last night it was jobs that sound cool. here are my top three:
1) choosing movie music soundtracks. are you ever listening to a song and think how perfect it would fit for a movie scene? maybe i am the only person who does this but i think it would be fun to pick the songs for movies.
2) someone who reads books on tape for a living. someone once told me i had a nice reading voice (as opposed to my speaking voice...?) so ever since then i have had a mild fantasy about getting paid mucho $$$ to record books on tape. so far no one has contacted me do to so, but one never knows...
3) the obvious one---getting to taste test all sorts of kickin foods for top chefs, like if my job was that every few days some awesome restaurant calls me and says, 'julie, we need you to come try this new tasting menu for us', how great would that be? i might just be thinking about this one b/c the new season of 'top chef' starts tonight, hooray.
