this is lucy, our fearless cocker spaniel. and i mean fearless in the sense that when i take her and eden for a walk, she goes all tough guy on the stray pit bulls wandering around. doesn't make for a very calm walk, when i have to push the jogging stroller with one arm and carry lucy with the other to avoid life threatening attacks. usually i only have to carry her for about a block, all the while shouting "get back! go away! leave us alone! go home!" to the miscellaneous dogs trailing us. (makes for an entertaining sight, surely.) dan calls lucy 'dick cheney' due to an often lopsided smile when her upper lip gets caught on her gums (i was not aware that cheney had a lopsided smile, but i try not to spend much time looking at him in general...). i have tried many a time to catch it on camera; this is about the closest i have gotten.

Your entries give me such great laughs! I can totally picture the walk scene and can't help but laugh out-loud. I am sure you were not laughing at the time, but I have to say, it was probably fun for someone to watch. :)
